My Project
The manga and graphic novels will provide my students with engaging, accessible reading materials that inspire a love for reading. These books will appeal to both avid readers and those who may struggle with traditional texts, as the combination of visuals and storytelling helps build comprehension, vocabulary, and narrative analysis skills. By incorporating this popular format, students can explore diverse genres, cultures, and perspectives in a way that feels relevant and exciting to them. Meanwhile, the disinfectant wipes will ensure that our classroom remains a clean and safe environment, allowing students to focus on their learning without distractions or concerns about hygiene.
My goal is to cultivate an inclusive reading culture in my classroom by providing diverse and visually stimulating books in a clean environment.
By offering manga and graphic novels, I aim to spark curiosity, deepen engagement with storytelling, and encourage reluctant readers to dive into literature. Additionally, ensuring that our shared reading spaces are clean and welcoming will create an environment where students feel comfortable and cared for, supporting their overall well-being and focus on learning.
My students are creative, driven, and deeply passionate about the arts. Attending an arts-focused school, they bring a unique perspective to their learning, often blending visual and verbal creativity in their work. They are curious, thoughtful, and eager to explore new ways to express themselves, making manga and graphic novels a perfect fit for their artistic interests. Their energy and enthusiasm make our classroom a lively space, and they deserve access to resources that match their creativity and inspire their imaginations.
