My Students

Our school is located in a small community. With more than 85% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, it's hard not to spend my own money for classroom items.

My students are sweet, caring kids.

They love to learn and light up my day with their smiles. My students love to learn new things, share their ideas with each other, and even teach each other.

My students make me proud to be a teacher with all of their hard work and dedication.

My Project

My students need books to incorporate science skills into their daily reading. Informational texts are vital in third grade. Students must read and comprehend non-fiction texts to be successful.

My students love to read!

I want to increase that love of reading by providing my students with science vocabulary readers and books that they can use with science activity tubs.

I believe that having these resources will not only increase my students love for reading, but it will increase their science vocabulary and knowledge of the important science standards in third grade. These resources will be such a blessing to my third grade class.
