This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are from different cultures. I would like to provide them with reading material that would allow them to make make a text to self connection and generate a strong interest in reading. A lot of my students are below grade level in reading and are not motivated to read independently . I hope I can motivate them to read more and improve their reading skills. This will also help them improve in other academic areas. Reading is the foundation for academic success. Please help my students become better readers.
