My students come from all over San Diego to attend our public charter school. Our school uses the power of imagination, story telling, and nature to build students' understanding of characters, story elements, and overall comprehension. Students experience curriculum in a fully immersive way. We do things very differently than you might typically find and that's what makes my students so proud to be Waldorf students. Everything students do they infuse with enthusiasm.

As a Reading Specialist, I work with students on many different reading and language levels. Being able to give my students access to a variety of leveled texts tailored to their needs would make a huge difference.
My Project
Reading A-Z has excellent resources to meet students at their current reading level while helping students meet their reading goals and progress to the next level. Reading A-Z has running records to monitor progress as well as books for guided reading. Reading A-Z has engaging leveled books that can easily be printed and shared with students to safely read while we are virtual learning due to COVID-19. This resource will help my students increase their reading comprehension and fluency whether we are together in the classroom or virtually learning this year.
