Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students are smart, autistic and nonverbal and enjoy reading books. Reading a book with specific meaning would make a difference on my nonverbal kids. Through books my kids acquire knowledge and most important vocabulary. I have some of this books in English, but my class is bilingual and having this books in Spanish can make a difference. I like to read books to my students and then they have the opportunity to have the books on their hands and reread it on their own pace. Having a place to display it would encourage them to get a book and read as an enjoyment.
