Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 65 bilingual 2nd grade students. At least once a week, students independently rotate through literacy centers. Many of those centers are reading comprehension centers for students to answer questions about a text then check their work. Sometimes answers are short response and other times it is multiple choice. We need a designated place to use during this critical time in class.
Currently, there is not a great system to keep track of their independent work or progress in centers; these notebooks would serve as check points to help students see their personal growth over time.
I'm so grateful for your consideration and suport of our amazing students.
