My Project

Many students struggle with writing not because they don't have stories to tell, but because they have so much that they want to say or aren't confident that their ideas are "good enough." These materials will help me provide students with better writing instruction and materials such as mentor text.

Mentor text help take the pressure off of reluctant writers because they are able to model their own writing after published authors.

The materials included in this project help provide students with text examples that will help them flourish as both readers and writers. There are organizational materials included as well as materials that will help gifted learners work through critical thinking challenges.
