Help me give my students a classroom library. Currently, I only have five books in the classroom that are not “required” reading. A variety of genres will entice my avid readers, along with my reluctant readers.

My Project

They are attentive, curious learners who strive to reach their goals. The new books, in a variety of genres and Lexie levels, will boost their reading comprehension and vocabulary growth. While we have books in my classroom for assigned reading, per the curriculum, it is fantastic to have “choice” books for students who love to read, as well as those who need gentle persuasion. I teach

135 seniors, yet I also teach 28 freshmen, so it is essential to have a variety of choices reflecting maturity levels and Lexie ranges.
