it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students at Sharp Elementary mean so much to me and it is unfortunate that as a librarian to over 450 students, I cannot ask for school supplies.
My students come in daily into my library never wanting to leave.
They absolutely love to be and stay in the library. Some even wish they could live here with me, thinking this is my home where I sleep. This is how comfortable they are to be in here and it brings me so much joy!
I am not just a teacher but a library teacher so the entire school is my class. These essential items like Kleenex, hand towels and hand sanitizer are needed on a daily basis. It makes me sad that at times I do not have items like Kleenex so they can blow their nose or hand towels to clean up after Reading celebrations. It has made a big dent in my pocket from the amount of items I have purchased. So please help me and get these important items to make this great school year a successful one!
