My Project

I would love for my classroom children to immerse themselves in books daily and enjoy doing it. I see a lot of children not enjoy reading and it makes me sad for them. I envision my class sitting on my carpet reading books independently and getting lost in that book. I love having the students come to the carpet after recess and I read them books.

I'd like my students to start reading books that are part of a series to ignite their love of reading.

I'd like to introduce them to new books that challenge their reading levels. I want my classroom kiddos to explore different genres and find a genre they can enjoy for life.

Life long learners start when they are young. I want every one of the students to be life long learners and readers.
