Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is part of a school-wide incentive program that we started last year, where students will earn coins and will use the coins to go to a Bookworm Book vending machine. This project will help us to fill the vending machine with up to date and current books for students. Currently we are looking to load up this vending machine with books for our students to gain an avid passion for reading. We are also looking to add STEM books to our machine to help students open their minds to the wonderful world of STEM.

These books will used to promote a love of reading and to celebrate students' success in becoming not only amazing readers, but amazing people as well.

We hope to use these books in our vending machine to help students who are unable to afford books at home, receive and keep books to reel them in to the amazing world of reading.
