My Project

I teach remedial reading to students in grades K-3. These past eighteen months have been extremely difficult for my students as they have slipped further behind in their reading skills. Covid impacted my students uniquely, and they need extra help to bridge the gap it created. My goal is to provide books for students at their reading level to take home and practice on a continual basis. Students need to have books in their homes to encourage twenty minutes of nightly reading. These books I am requesting will help build a home library for my students as they improve their reading skills. It will allow them to build confidence as they move through their academic careers.
