Help me give my students some reading medals for motivation! Students who struggle in reading need a confidence boost and tools to feel successful. The students will proudly wear their medals and/or display their stickers!
The pandemic has been hard on everyone but it has been very detrimental to students with dyslexia and those that struggle with reading. This population of students are in dire need of motivation and a confidence boost. Giving them an extrinsic reward allows them to demonstrate how proud they are of their hard work!
Our reading intervention program needs funding as a means to provide simple yet impactful rewards for the first through fifth grade students who are working to improve their basic reading skills.
