My Students

My elementary students work hard in class. Their parents value education greatly but are often unable to support learning outside of the school day. They put their best foot forward and are inspired to do better.

My students will be the leaders of tomorrow; future doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers, and software designers.

As a teacher, it is my job to prepare these students for careers that are not in existence yet. By giving my students opportunities inside and outside the classroom to grow and succeed, I can see that I am shaping the future of our great nation.

My Project

Everyone knows that a good book is the key to unlocking so many doors for our students. We are looking to add simple chapter books to our reading library in our classroom. I want my students to have access to books that will stretch their reading abilities and allow them to learn to love reading.

Readers are leaders and we want all students to be able to take books home to read each evening.

Unfortunately, that means that some of them don't make it back to school. These new books will help replenish the supply of books that have gone missing, or became too loved to return to our classroom bookshelves.
