My Project

This project is asking for your support in bringing Harry Potter and The Cupcake Diaries into the hands of elementary students who are eager to discover the magic of reading.

Here’s why these books would be such a valuable gift to these students captivating and relatable stories: Harry Potter immerses students in a world of magic, friendship, and courage—perfect for kids who love a good adventure.

The Cupcake Diaries offers fun, heartwarming stories that explore friendship, personal growth, and the joy of creating something special. Both series connect deeply with the interests of young readers. Students will see themselves in the characters of both series. Whether it's Harry, Hermione, and Ron facing challenges together, or Emma and her friends navigating the ups and downs of growing up while running a cupcake business, these characters help students reflect on their own lives, dreams, and friendships.

For many students, The Cupcake Diaries are the perfect starting point. The Cupcake Diaries provides shorter chapters and light-hearted stories, making it accessible for readers just beginning their chapter book journey. Whereas Harry Potter gradually becomes more complex, making it a wonderful series to grow with. These books aren’t just entertaining—they also teach valuable lessons. Harry Potter promotes friendship, courage, and standing up for what’s right, while The Cupcake Diaries helps students build confidence, navigate school challenges, and develop meaningful relationships.
