Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year I will be teaching a group of 33 fifth graders in Richmond, California.

My students are brilliant, funny, loving, and creative.

However, because they attend a Title I school with 100% free lunch in a low-income area, they do not have all of the tools that they need to be successful in the classroom.

By donating to my classroom, you will ensure that my students are able to learn and flourish both inside of the classroom and out. Thank you!

My Project

My students need basic materials to help them advance in the classroom. I find myself borrowing materials from other teachers, and it would make it so much easier for my students to learn if they had all the materials they need in the classroom.

Students should not stop learning because they lack materials.

Having full class sets of scissors, crayons and makers will enable my students to show off their creativity and intelligence using a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. I am excited to see students create beautiful pieces of art, write engaging pieces, and express themselves using all of these vital classroom materials.
