My Project
I am requesting funds to get a reader pen. I have many students that have difficulty reading and have a diagnosed Specific Learning Disability in reading. This reader pen will allow those students to be more independent when reading text in their general education classes. They will also be able to do their homework more independently.
My Special Education colleague was just awarded a reader pen and we are already seeing the results.
My goal is to get a reader pen for not only my resource room but the other two resource rooms as well. We want all of our Special Education students to benefit from this.
Our students are amazing and should feel good about themselves when doing their school work.
