My Project

My teaching partner and I have incorporated the skills associated with the science of reading into our teaching practice. We are in need of books to help our students practice the phonics skills that we are teaching. We need to build our classroom library so that we have a variety of books to meet the needs of all our readers.

The books that we have on our list will help our students practice reading cvc/short vowel words in a context that will also help them develop their comprehension skills.

We will use these books during small group instruction to meet the variety of needs and levels of our students!
