This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have gone through a tough time these last few years. At the beginning of the pandemic, the students thought they would return in a few weeks. So they took... everything. They took their notebooks, binders, pencils, and all of our classroom books.
Little did I know, I would never see them or the books in my classroom again.
Although the books are gone, they were put to good use, but now my new students are left with scraps. I would love to get them new books so they can fall in love with reading just like my previous students!
