This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Preschool aged children spend a lot of their time in play-based learning. In order to best support each theme throughout the school year, these books will provide the literacy needed for students to expand their learning.
Exploring books through play is key in supporting growth in literacy, mathematics, science, emotional and social development, artistic expression, sensory exploration, gross motor development and fine motor skills.
Students will be able to read books that inspire ideas for playful activities such as art, crafts, dress-up, doll play, playdough, puppets, scavenger hunts, story telling, and more!
Please help me give my students the necessary books needed to build on play themes such as family, community, grocery, pets/vets, and more!
