My Project
Students need examples of novels that have characters, plots, and vocabulary that they can relate to. The novels on this list include diversity as well as some of the most popular novels that they have grown to love. Students will have the opportunity to share the novels with their classmates. With Covid 19 still an issue, students will use Clorox wipes to wipe off the bookshelves and Lysol to spray the novels in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. After my students have read the novels, I would love for them to have the opportunity to pick a novel that they like and keep it.

This will allow them to continue to read at home with their families. Having their own novels to share with their families will be a first for many of them.
