My Project

I absolutely love how curious, resilient, and full of potential my students are. As middle schoolers, they’re at a unique stage in life where they’re discovering who they are and how they see the world. One of the most powerful tools to support them through this journey is reading.

Reading opens doors—not just academically, but emotionally and socially.

It helps students build empathy, improve focus, expand vocabulary, and develop critical thinking skills. For many of my students, the classroom is the only place they have consistent access to engaging, age-appropriate books. That’s why it’s so important that I provide them with a wide variety of literature that reflects their interests, experiences, and dreams.

The books in this project are carefully selected to capture their attention and foster a genuine love for reading. Whether it's a fantasy that sparks imagination, a realistic story that helps them feel seen, or a gripping novel that challenges their thinking, each book is a step toward becoming a more confident reader and a more thoughtful individual.

These resources will allow us to create a strong reading culture in our classroom—where books are celebrated, stories are shared, and every student sees themselves as a reader. Your support brings us closer to that vision, and I’m so grateful!
