My Project

My students are eager to learn. They are full of joy and has lots of energy. They make me feel like I am making a real difference every day! This is part of a Time Service Star Project, where the Kindergarten students will read to the Pre-K through second grade within our school community weekly. The Read-Alouds will expose my students to a wide range of words and allow them to explore vocabulary in context. Read-Alouds can be engaging and enjoyable. After the students read with the younger students, they will share a yummy snack. During Open-House and Literacy Night students will use the books and games to build community readers with parents , other students ,and MES Community members in attendance. The Kindergarten students will be actively engaged in this community service initiative.
