My Project
Post COVID, my school has noticed a literacy gap in our younger grades. Specifically in 6th, we want to ignite their love for reading through engaging and exciting books. Alongside these books, we are seeking to provide access to texts based on a student's current reading level. To accommodate for these needs, we require headphones so that our students with exceptionalities can read along with the text.
It is backed by research that the more kids read, the more access they will have to job opportunities post graduations!
It's my job as an educator to foster their love for reading with as many tools to be successful as I can provide. Now is the time to instill that love of learning, so that they can choose whatever career path speaks to them!
