Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello Kind and Generous Donors,
I am asking for tools that will help our students develop the foundational skills they need to be successful readers.
It is so very important that our kindergarten and first grade students get all the reading support they need to be able to progress through their educational careers successfully.
The students we serve at our site do not always have the ability to continue learning once they leave school, so every opportunity that is able to be provided to have students engage in reading instruction is very important. I want to give our students fun and engaging activities that will allow them to learn and grow while having fun!
Reading should be promoted in a manner that meets the needs and developmental abilities of our students, and I believe that the items I selected will offer many learning opportunities for all of our students!
