My Project
Our classroom library is worn out and ready for a makeover. As a third-year teacher, I have not had a new, level-oriented library. I am looking to make my library where kids can sit down get a book out of their level bin and be able to explore the wonder of the story. I want kids to have the confidence that they are taking control of their reading and they CAN do it! My goal is for our library to have the levels for our grade and a couple levels to prepare them for their first-grade year as well. My students have the drive and courage to take a book and step into it and be a part of the story, however with our library right now they are lacking the ability to find books that fit their level.
