My Project
I love my Stone Valley 7th Graders! They are such inquisitive, energetic, compassionate children, who are always so excited for each day in class.
I love introducing new topics to them and helping them develop and share their own critical thoughts and ideas.
Books are a wonderful way to help children grow, and I am hoping to build and grow our classroom library. I've requested a variety of books, including fiction, historical fiction, and biographies, so that each child can find something they like, and also venture into new types of literature.
And sharing what you read is such an important skill. It is a true sign of understanding when you can explain what you have learned or thoughts you have developed to a friend. A conference area and the whiteboards will help my students do just that.
I can't wait to dive into these books with my students and help them progress on this path!
