My Project

I would like to gave my students ways to retain information from books that has been read to them. PreK children love to be read too. They really sit and listen. However, sometimes retelling a story can be difficult.

I want to give my students ways to help them retain and retell stories.

These books with activities and props will be a great way to help them. Big books are ideal to help small children be able to see the story. The felt pieces and puppets will help keep my boys and girls engaged in the story. A love for reading is what my goal is for my students. Children who can understand what is being read to them will also help increase vocabulary, form opinions about a book and gain background knowledge to help in the real world as they grow up.
