This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Dry erase boards are a wonderful tool that allows every student to answer questions, instead of calling on only a few. Also, it is interactive and exciting for the kids. Dry erase boards are a great way to engage students, particularly with collaborative exercises. Writing is essential in helping students written expression, oral comprehension (through turn and talks), and listening comprehension. Having additional books chosen by the students increases their desire to read, which impacts their vocabulary and comprehension. Students have the chance to talk about what they are reading, which greatly impacts English as a Second Language students.
