My Students
My students are sweet, bright, dedicated fourth grade students! They have been impacted in many ways by the pandemic but especially in their reading. Most of them started the year below grade level in one or more areas of Language Arts. They have made huge improvements this year but there is more room to grow!
Our class is filled with compassion and dedication to the motto of including everyone.
One way these students can achieve positive gains in their educational journey is by enjoying reading more.
My Project
My students have suffered a lack of enjoyment in reading online during the pandemic. I want them to be able to enjoy reading by giving them new and exciting books that they can read at school and take home if they can't put it down!
Children like to feel the crack of a new book being opened and smell the pages as they dive into the stories.
These books will encourage students to pick up a book and read! I am hoping to ignite a love of reading and stories in my 4th grade class.
