My Project

I am at a school that does Project Based Learning and with that we use a ton of read aloud stories to help engage students into their learning. Being a first grade teacher, I see the love kids have for listening to a story read by an adult, as they are still in the learning stages of becoming readers! Read aloud stories introduce kids to higher level vocabulary and other ways of thinking about their learning and engaging them. Books can be expensive and as a young teacher, I am unable to buy all of these out of pocket. I want to help kids start their journey and help them find their love of reading, by giving them books that will engage them and excite them! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for making all our reading and learning dreams come true!
