This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I have a class full of vibrant, joyful, and inquisitive fifth graders. They are anxious about learning, especially when it comes to current events and world affairs. My students enjoy talking about politics, history, science, and math. They are also independent thinkers and learners who soak up everything we discuss in class. Not only are they amazing scholars, but they are also amazing little citizens. They cooperate with each other and genuinely want to make a difference in their community.

I am requesting these books because my classroom library is in need of more books.

My kids enjoy reading and I would like to surprise them with these books so that they continue to be excited about reading.
