This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal for this project is for a lazy chair with ottoman to create a space that helps my students feel comfortable and at ease while they read a novel. This space can be used for students having a hard day or as an earned reward for students who finish the classwork early.
There will be two comfy chairs to sit in and rugs to make it feel like home for kids.
There will also be a book case that will hold books to intrigue students interest. Finally the posters will be used to liven up the space and give information about the books.
Students often need a safe space and a place that feels calming. I can only hope that this space will be what they need.
