My Project
Our library media center is in need of an update in award-winning (Eliot Rosewater, Edgar, National Book, etc.) and highly-rated titles for our romance and mystery/suspense sections. We also need a larger quantity of graphic novels for all students, especially reluctant readers.
Not only does reading help to improve comprehension and vocabulary, but it can also serve as a bridge to other times, worlds, and cultures, both real and imaginary.
With these requested books, our students will have the opportunity to experience all of the above, and when they leave the media center, they will not leave empty-handed.
