This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are learning 2 languages! They come to school ready to be challenged and immerse themselves in new learning opportunities. They speak, read, and write in both Hmong and English. I am extremely proud of them! They work hard every day!

My Project

Help me grow our classroom library for my students! These donated books will give my students opportunities to access texts from different authors, use their reading skills to read, and learn new information from non-fiction texts or simply enjoy reading fiction texts! We read daily in the classroom, and I want my students to have as many opportunities as possible to hold a book in front of them and read. My students are going to be so excited and extremely happy if we receive these books to add to our classroom library.
