Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class is incredibly diverse with students from all over the world. These students face more challenges than other students. From low-income families, multiple languages, and trauma backgrounds these kids need all the love and help they can get.

These resources will help my struggling students find joy and success in reading and writing.

The books chosen are a mixture of phonics-based practices and fun books about them and the world around them. The STEAM items will help the students become problem solvers and give them the skills they need to succeed. The writing tablets will allow my students to switch things up during our writing lesson and have a bit more fun with writing in a creative way. The LED light will allow the students to see when I am available during our testing. The light will also aid in calming the students when they are tense in our calm down corner. The organizer will help me to organize the students learning supplies in the classroom.

Please help give my students a great experience in school this year while they start to develop a lifelong interest in learning.
