My Project

This project will allow the students in my class to read independently both on a digital platform as well as with book in their hands! Students need to grow stamina as readers and that is much easier to do when they find books that meet their interests. As an early elementary school teacher I pride myself on matching readers to books.

Building a classroom library has a very personal and critical role in the growth and development of early education students.

Specifically, these items will allow students to independently select books, and read either on their own or in partnerships with their peers. The headphones will be used to read on sights like RazKids and GetEpic! and the early chapter books in a series will allow students to read more current and popular authors and characters!
