My Project
I am new to teaching first grade. I have a wonderful bunch of kids that have many social and educational needs. They need a room where they want to learn by using many tactile approaches. These items will help these scholars that have ASD and non-verbal communicate better. Hearing a word and seeing it with pictures will be very beneficial. I also choose a few fun beginner books so I can read it to them and then they can take them home for a week (borrow) and continue to read them or get them read at home. There are also some rewards charts. The students need to learn to keep pushing and they can get an educational yet fun reward, on top of the smiles they will receive from learning new things. My students need many visuals.
