This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning should be fun, and students should be encouraged to express their creativity through art. Every child is an artist. The use of art supplies is a daily activity in my classroom. Currently, we use art projects to enhance an ELA lesson and or story character. Art is also used across the curriculum to illustrate a word story problem for writing.

My students greatly enjoy expressing their thoughts through art.

They would greatly benefit from the art supplies I have requested to encourage creativity and enhance their learning in reading, writing and social studies.
