Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have an incredible opportunity to continue growing as readers. The author of "Letters from Heaven" plans to visit us in May and we want the students to have the chance to read a book the author wrote before meeting her.
The book is written in both English and Spanish and by purchasing the book students will have an opportunity to read the book with their families as the primary home language is Spanish.
Help us connect students to an author by reading her novel and engaging with her beyond the words on the page.
