My Students
“Keyes Kids” are some of the most loving, protective, energetic, bright, and the hardest working kids you will ever meet! I have one bright bunch and they have my heart 100%. Their self-esteem about learning has grown in unimaginable ways. When children believe in themselves, there are no limits to what they can achieve or become. I have watched my kids go from not being motivated to learn, to now being engaged in lectures, completing homework, and most of all, helping each other be agents of change in their own communities. When teachers believe that all children can learn, and give them the tool to learn, children soar to higher heights academically, with the drive to be more than what they expected of themselves!
My Project
What my students miss about being in school, is being a part of the after school programs that were offered to them from September to June. With that being said, I am trying to meet their needs from afar.
I am creating a virtual literacy after school program where we can read together and continue to grow academically.
I want to send my "GLOWING STUDENTS" a set books and LED lights for their bedrooms so we can READ AND GLOW TOGETHER! Thank you to all who helped me make this possible for my students!
