My Students
My Head Start students love learning new things and are always excited for a new day at school. I am always looking for new, creative ways and materials to keep them engaged in their learning.
My 4 and 5-year-old Head Start students attend a Title I school, with limited funds for resources and supplies.
This year, we are starting school virtually, and many of my students may not have the materials to learn at home. I created this project so I could give each student a learning kit to use at home.
My Project
My classroom library needs a more diverse selection of books. This project will give my students a set of books about community workers. The books contain various jobs and careers and include lots of diverse photos that represent the many cultures in my classroom.
My students love to be creative and express their learning through art.
A double-sided easel will allow them to continue to learn while having fun.
Providing books and a new art easel for my students gives them opportunities to read, paint, draw and create artwork with their friends. They can use their imagination and create masterpieces.
