This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is all about bringing the joy of reading to life through fun and engaging read-aloud books for our kindergarten classroom. Read-aloud time is one of the most important parts of our day it helps build listening skills, vocabulary, comprehension, and most importantly, a love for stories. These carefully selected books are full of humor, adventure, and heartwarming lessons that capture young imaginations and keep students excited about reading.

By adding new, high-interest titles to our collection, I can introduce my students to a wider range of characters, settings, and story themes.

These read-alouds also create meaningful opportunities for discussion, connection, and early literacy development. Whether we’re giggling together at a silly character or reflecting on a story’s message, these books will make story time a memorable and enriching part of every day in our classroom.
