My Project
There is something truly powerful about putting a book directly into a child’s hands. During our summer reading camp, I witnessed the magic that happens when every student has their own copy of our read-alouds. Engagement soared, confidence grew, and even the most hesitant readers leaned in, followed along, and lit up with excitement as they turned each page.
This project will help provide a copy of each read-aloud book we plan to explore together, so every student can fully participate—eyes on the text, fingers following the words, and hearts connected to the story.
When students can interact with a book directly, they develop stronger comprehension skills, a sense of ownership, and a deeper love for reading.
