My Project
My students are working so hard to become readers but need to focus on decodable books so they can gain confidence in reading and use the reading skills we are working on in small group. They are still working on finding books they can read. I want to give them the books they can read and help them flourish as readers.
My students don't always have access to decodable books.
Many of my students think they cannot read, but they can read if given books to help them build their reading skills. I want to put books in their hands that help them gain the confidence to pick up a book and be able to figure out words they once couldn't read. The TPT gift card will be used to purchase printable decodable books for my students to use.
When we get these decodable books in my small group, my students will not only gain confidence but a love of reading! I want to be sure I am able to give every student in my group books they will love and enjoy!
