Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A student’s voice is important to be heard and our students want their voices heard. This upcoming school year our students will be looking to launch a student newspaper designed to inform their fellow peers of issues that most affect them and their community. An editorial program like this will allow their voices to be heard in the most important of ways. The program will aim at strengthening their skills in writing, researching, and most importantly collaborating with others.
A laptop and headphones will allow the students to conduct research through various media sources and write and publish articles on issues they have identified as important.
