My Students
Our school is a kindergarten through 8th-grade school in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia. Most of the special education students are bused to school. They are from all areas of Philadelphia. This project will benefit an amazing Autistic Support classroom. The students truly look forward to coming to school each day. They are eager and ready to learn! They also look forward to spending time with their peers. The classroom is one big family. We treat each other with love and respect. The classroom is like a home away from home.
My Project
The TIME and Science magazines contain content that will support growing readers in the Autistic Support classroom. These magazines foster literacy development. They will inspire a love for reading. The content in these magazines encourages students to interact with engaging content that relates to the curriculum. The magazines present the content in an exciting and new way! The magazines will help students to become more excited about reading, listening, and learning.
The workbooks will help to promote sight word practice in order to build strong readers.
The workbooks will reinforce comprehension, spelling, writing, and word usage.
These materials will be an excellent addition to the curriculum! These materials will help students to become even more excited about learning!
