My Project

These books will allow my students to learn social emotional skills, literary elements and grow their love of reading.

Having read a loud books that cover a variety of seasons, topics and interests allows our class to have meaningful discussions and learn not only from the book but from each other.

Students in upper elementary enjoy sitting down and reading a great picture book just as much as kindergarteners! These are also amazing ways to teach grade level skills like perspective, plot, literary devices and point of view. Reading to my students on the carpet is a special part of our weekly classroom schedule.
