Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 5th graders are a group of vivacious 10-11 year olds who enjoy learning and who aren’t afraid to ask for help. Our classroom represents a beautiful diverse community with students from different backgrounds and with different academic strengths/needs. The language barriers and disabilities have not stopped them from making friends and learning.
With this class iPad, my students would have more tools available at their fingertips to not only communicate but to also explore math in their everyday lives.
For example, through the use of Google translate, virtual math manipulatives, and ebooks, students will have more resources to help them succeed. The goal of this project is to provide my students access to more tools to help them reach their full potential.
