My Students

Do you like to listen to books online? Imagine kindergarten students enjoying books with technology in the classroom.

I serve low income students in NC.

These children do not have the adequate resources to help them reach to their highest potential and prepare them for the 21st century. Many of these students do not have any technology within their homes. The school environment is the only resource for them to reach the world through the use of technology.

My Project

Students will be prepared for the 21st century through technology. Children will be more engage and excited about school and develop a love for learning. My students will enjoy and learn how to read by listening to stories and interacting with them on the Ipod touch. They will also learn literacy and math skills by playing games with sight words, rhyming, and more.

My students need an Ipod-touch to listen to stories and play various literacy games.

Students' lives will be changed in an instant. They will become more prepared for society and the 21st century. I believe that we can be the difference in our world today and make an impact for tomorrow and years to come. Students will have access to the technology of today.
